Description of key information

The 11-d NOEC of 3.2 µg/L in Danio rerio (tested as Brachydanio rerio) is not used in the assessment. No further testing is necessary.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One long-term toxicity study with freshwater fish is available for zinc diethyldithiocarbamate. The test is a semi-static non-GLP, non-guideline study with Danio rerio (tested as Brachydanio rerio) without analytical monitoring (Akzo Nobel Research Laboratories, 1991). The 11-d NOEC was determined to be 3.2 µg/L. This test was performed for 11 days instead of the recommended 30 days and therefore is not adequate to use in the risk assessment. The endpoint is waived.
