First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
In all cases keep the victim at physical and mental rest and warm. Always seek for medical help.
· General information:
Take affected persons out of danger area and lay down.
Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Remove breathing equipment only after contaminated clothing have been completely removed.
In case of irregular breathing or respiratory arrest provide artificial respiration.
· After inhalation:
Supply fresh air or oxygen; call for doctor.
In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.
· After skin contact:
flush the affected area with plenty of water (preferably lukewarm), carefully remove the contaminated clothing as soon as possible and continue washing the affected skin. After the rinsing cover the affected area with a clean cloth and seek medical advice.
· After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Never neutralize!
· After swallowing:
Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting.
If symptoms persist consult doctor.
Most Important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: cough. Shortness of breath. Headache. Nausea. Vomiting.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: no specific antidote is known.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media: dry chemicals, carbon dioxide, foam
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: water
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: development of hazardous gases or vapours possible in the event of fire:
The following may develop in event of fire: nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides, hydrogen cyanide.
Flammable
Advice for firefighters: in the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 137) and clothing protective against chemicals. Cool the tanks containing the product with a water jet from a safe distance, in case of fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
For non-emergency personnel: avoid inhaling of product vapours. Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid entering of product into a water stream and sewers.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: absorb in dry earth, sand, vapex or other suitable inert material and collect in designated closable containers.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: avoid inhaling of product vapours. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use personal protective equipment. Keep principles of personal hygiene. Wash hands with warm water and soap before breaks and after work.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: store in original tightly closed containers in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Thoroughly protect from atmospheric moisture.
Specific end use(s): accesible only for authorised persons.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment: The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection: protective mask with filter against organic vapour, in high concentration self-contained breathing apparatus
Hand protection: protective gloves (as minimum NBR, thickness 0.5 mm)
Eye/face protection: protective chemical goggles or face shield
Skin protection: antistatic protective clothing, boots with antistatic sole, cap. Minimum protective clothing against liquid chemicals according to EN 13034:2005. Performance requirements for chemical protective clothing offering limited protective performance against liquid chemicals (type 6 and type PB [6] equipment).
Environmental exposure reduction: Uncontrolled escape of substance/formulation into environment is to be avoided. If necessary, install efficient equipment for disposal of emission.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: product reacts with water and alcohols by formation of urea.
Chemical stability: stable under recommended storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: no known hazardous reactions.
Conditions to avoid: open fire, heat. Protect from moisture.
incompatible materials: moisture, water.
Hazardous decomposition products: nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, hydrogen cyanide and other toxic gases forms in case of fire.
Disposal considerations
Disposal methods of the substance/preparation: must be disposed of in compliance with the respective national regulations.
Disposal methods of the contaminated packaging: incinerate at a reserved and approved place in accordance with regulations.
