Additional information

The hydrolysis potential of the test material '1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, reaction products with hydrogen peroxide and tert-nonanethiol’ (that should be also applicable for the structurally similar long-chain homologue ‘1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, reaction products with hydrogen peroxide and tert-dodecanethiol') was investigated in accordance with the OECD Guideline 111. Significant hydrolysis was only observed for the pH 7 treatment. The reaction rate constant (Kobs) was calculated for the 30 °C and 50 °C test temperatures, Kobs = 0.270 and 0.219/days, respectively.

No information is available concerning the phototransformation in air, water and soil, however, these are no standard requirements in accordance to REACH Regulation (EC) 1907/2006.
