Description of key information

flash point: 141.11°C at 101.325 kPa (ISO 2719:2002 (Determination of flash point - Pensky-Martens closed cup method))

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
141.11 °C

Additional information

The available GLP study (that was conducted in accordance with national standard methods and described in sufficient detail) was classified

as reliable without restrictions (Klimisch 1). The determined flash point of 141.11°C at 101.325 kPa (according to the Pensky-Martens closed cup method, DIN EN ISO 2719) can therefore be used for further risk assessment.

Under the foreseeable conditions of use, no elevated risk for human health was identified; however, heating up the test item above 140°C should be avoided.
