Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity of the compound was assessed in a GLP study according to OECD guideline 202. The test was conducted as a semi-static limit test with a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L as saturated solution. Due to the low water solubility of < 10 µg/L no analytical concentration control analysis was performed. At the saturated solution with a nominal loading of 100 mg/L of the test item no effects were observed in Daphnia magna. The E10/EL50 and EL100 were determined to be > 100 mg/L.

The second study with Daphnia magna cannot be regarded as reliable due to the exposure time of 24h instead of 48h and the presence of undissolved test material in all test concentrations from the start of the test. This study was conducted according to an EC standard (European Communities L251,vol.27, C-02, 1984). The test substance concentrations were not analytically verified, but are assumed to be stable. The 24-h LC50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L. No immobilisation was observed (CIBA-GEIGY, 1990).
