The Tyndall-Effect was negative for all samples.

The validity criteria were fulfilled: the concentration measured in at least the last two test vessels did not differ for more than 15%,

the temperatures were kept constant within ± 0.5 °C.

Description of key information

< 4 µg/L at 20 °C and pH = 5.9

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

There was an attempt performed, to determine the water solubility of the substance nonanedioic acid, bis(2 -octyldodecyl) ester (CAS 897626 -46 -9) according to the OECD Guideline 105 and the EC Guideline A.6. The water solubility measured was below the LOQ (limit of quantification) of 4 µg/L. Thus, the substance is insoluble in water.
