Auto-ignition temperature:
480 °C
Atm. press.:
97 425 Pa
Remarks on result:
other: 480 ± 20 °C

The measured value of the autoignition temperature: 481.16 °C (mass sample 141 mg)

Approximated value: 480 °C

Autoignition temperature: 480 ± 20 °C

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this study, the autoignition temperature was determined to be 480 ± 20 °C. This temperature is rounded.
Executive summary:

The autoignition temperature of the test substance was investigated in accordance with the standard ASTM E659-78 using the standard method for liquids.

The substance was very viscous. This material was heated in aluminium foil at 60 °C. After creating a continuous layer with a thickness of 1 mm, the substance was cooled down to - 60 °C, and subsequently broken into small fragments (about 3 x 3 mm). These fragments were injected into the laboratory instrument for measuring the autoignition temperature.

Given the difficulty in compliance to obtain constant weights of the samples in dependence on the properties of the substance was determined to an accuracy ± 20 °C.

Under the conditions of this study, the autoignition temperature was determined to be 480 ± 20 °C. This temperature is rounded.
