Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to fish.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a 96-h acute toxicity study, zebra-fish (Brachydanio rerio) were exposed to test item at nominal concentrations of 0 (control, solvent control) and 100 mg/L (nominal) under static conditions. The 96-h LC50 was > 57 mg/L (average of measured concentration). A supporting study on rainbow trout according to OECD 203 did not reveal any toxic effects.

Neither of the studies revealed toxic effects in the range of water solubility.
