The test substance MBTester is considered to be hydrolytically unstable under acidic conditions (pH 9, DT50: 4.36 h) in a study performed according to OECD 111. Results in neutral conditions indicated that the hydrolysis of GMT is pH-dependant with a DT50 of 366 h in neutral conditions (pH 7). The substance was found to be hydrolytically stable at 25°C, with estimated half-live greater than 1 year at pH 4.
