Description of key information

WoE based on two pieces of information:
1. The tested analog substance 2-Propyn-1-ol, compd. with methyloxirane (38172-91-7), which structurally differs from the registered substance 2-Propyn-1-ol, compd. with oxirane by a methy side group in the oxirane chain, is almost not toxic to algae.
2. Based on an well established QSAR programm the most toxic component (mono-ethoxylate) of the registered substance 2-Propyn-1-ol, compd. with oxirane is not toxic to algae.
Conclusion: taken together there is strong evidence that the registered substance is almost not toxic for algae.
