First-aid measures
EYES: when powdered fosfor slag gets into the eye, flush carefully with copious amounts of clean water. Do not attempt to remove contact lenses unless it is posisble to do so easily without harming the patient.
Fire-fighting measures
Further combustion of fosfor slag is not possible.
Accidental release measures
Refer to "personal protection measures". Sweep up or shovel up spilled material and return to packaging or container.
Handling and storage
Refer to "personal protection measures". No specific requirements.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Nuisance dust at outdoor working areas may be prevented by water spraying the area regularly if covering is not feasable.
Protection from nuisance dust may be obtained by using a PF2 respiratory mask and/or protective glassses or goggles if water spraying is not possible.
Leather or cloth working gloves may help protect the skin from abbrasions of picking up lumps of fosforslag.
Stability and reactivity
Fosfor slag is stable under standard pressure and ambient working temperatures. May react slightly with strong acidic liquids to form non hazardous salts.
Further combustion of fosfor slag is not possible.
Disposal considerations
Refer to local authorities for instructions on the local regulatory requirements for non hazardous stone-like waste.
