Description of key information
No toxicokinetic studies have been conducted on this substance. The corrosive nature of the material precludes toxicokinetic testing due to animal welfare considerations. However, toxicokinetic information exists for the component, p-tert-butylphenol (PTBP). Studies in rats indicate the majority of the administered material is rapidly excreted as conjugates in the urine (1/2-life of less than 4 hours). Toxicokinetics information is not available for the other component, 1,3-Bis(aminomethyl)benzene (MXDA).
