Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The calculated dissociation constants for the Mannich base component have been determined as 10.45+/-0.43, 9.14+/-0.10 and 8.09+/-0.20.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

pKa at 20°C:
10.45

Additional information

The dissociation constants in water was not determined using Method 112 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 12 May 1981 as the test item was a complex mixture with multiple dissociation constants over a narrow pH range and which would not be possible to measure accurately with the equipment available.

Calculated dissociation constants using ACD/Labs I-Lab 2.0 v12.1.0.50374 (ilab.acdlabs.com).
