First-aid measures

First-aid measures general : In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
First-aid measures after inhalation : Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If experiencing respiratory
symptoms: Call a poison center or a doctor.
First-aid measures after skin contact : After contact with skin, take off immediately all contaminated clothing, and wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after eye contact : Immediately flush eyes thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after ingestion : Rinse mouth. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical advice/attention

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media : Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry powder. Alcohol resistant foam. Water spray

Advice for firefighters
Precautionary measures fire : Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. Evacuate the danger area
Firefighting instructions : Do not breathe fumes from fires or vapours from decomposition. Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Fight fire from safe distance and protected location.
Protection during firefighting : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Other information : Large amounts of the product should not be allowed to enter drains or water courses or be deposited where it can affect ground or surface waters

Accidental release measures

General measures : Contain the spilled material by bunding. Avoid all contact with skin, eyes, or clothing.

For non-emergency personnel
Emergency procedures : Evacuate area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapours.

For emergency responders
Protective equipment : Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye
or face protection.

Environmental precautions
Dispose of this material and its container to hazardous or special waste collection point. Do not discharge into drains or the environment.

For containment : Contain the spilled material by bunding. Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as soon as possible.
Methods for cleaning up : Sweep up or vacuum up the product. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
Other information : Use suitable disposal containers.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling : Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe vapours. Avoid all unnecessary exposure. Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation. Use personal protective equipment as required.
Hygiene measures : Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

Storage conditions : Store in tightly closed containers. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep cool. Protect from sunlight.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Personal protective equipment:
Protective clothing. Gloves. Safety glasses.
Hand protection:
Chemical resistant gloves (according to European standard NF EN 374 or equivalent)
Eye protection:
Wear tight fitting safety glasses or facial screen. Emergency eye wash fountains should be available in the immediate vicinity of any potential exposure
Skin and body protection:
In case of repeated or prolonged exposure : Fully enclosed impervious protective suit with integral or tight-fitting gloves, boots, self-contained or supplied air respirator must be worn
Respiratory protection:
Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapour. Where excessive vapour may result, wear approved mask. Breathing apparatus with filter AXBEK
Other information:
Emergency safety showers should be available in the immediate vicinity of any potential exposure. (to European standard EN 15154).
