Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Instantly remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Inhalation
- Supply fresh air.
- Rinse mouth and nose with water.
- If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Eye contact
- Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for several minutes.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
Skin contact
- Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
- Wash off with plenty of water.
- Seek immediate medical attention.
- If large areas of skin are affected, take to hospital immediately.
- Chemical burns must be treated promptly by a physician.
Ingestion
- Call a physician immediately.
- Do NOT induce vomiting.
- Rinse mouth with water.
- Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water.
- Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

- Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also consider the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion and the contact time.
- Tightly fitting safety goggles must be worn.
- Body protection: Protective work clothing.
Storage: Store in accordance with local regulations. Prevent any penetration into the ground. Use appropriate containment to avoid environmental contamination.
- Keep away from incompatible products, separate from alkalis.

Exposure limit values :
Recommended monitoring procedures: Workplace atmosphere may be required to determine the effectiveness of the ventilation or other control measures and/or the necessity to use respiratory protective equipment. Reference should be made to European Standard EN 689 for methods for the assessment of exposure by inhalation to chemical agents and national guidance documents for methods for the determination of hazardous substances.

Respirator selection must be based on known or anticipated exposure levels, the hazards of the product and the safe working limits of the selected respirator. Hand protection : Gloves of a suitable material such as PVC, Neoprene or Natural rubber should be worn at all times when handling chemical products if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary. Permeation level for hydrochloric acid should be >= Level 6 (EN 374)
