Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. When symptoms persist or in all cases of doubt seek medical advice. Treat symptomatically.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Artificial respiration and/or oxygen may be necessary. Consult a physician.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Consult a physician.
Eye contact: In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Consult a physician.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Dry powder
Specific hazards during firefighting: Hazardous decomposition products could form under fire conditions.
Advice for firefighter: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Further information: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Cool containers / tanks with water spray. Dike off area to prevent runoff and contamination of water sources.
Accidental release measures
Wear personal protective equipment. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Remove all sources of ignition. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Environmental precautions : Do not let product enter drains. Do not discharge to streams, ponds, lakes or sewers.
Methods for cleaning up : Dike spill. Pick up and arrange disposal Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
The substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) throughout its life cycle. Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each manufacturing site.
Procedural and control technologies are used to minimise emissions and any resulting exposures; only properly trained and authorised personnel handle the substance; special procedures such as purging and washing are applied during cleaning and maintenance works, in cases of accident and where waste is generated, procedural and/or control technologies are used to minimise emissions and the resulting exposures; and substance-handling procedures are well documented and strictly supervised by the site operator.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Eye protection : Wear safety glasses or coverall chemical splash goggles. Eye protection complying with EN 166.
Hand protection: gloves
Skin and body protection : Where there is potential for skin contact, have available and wear as appropriate, impervious gloves, apron, pants, jacket, hood and boots.
General industrial hygiene practice. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Respiratory protection: suitable respiratory equipment.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions of use and storage.
No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use.
Avoid exposure to light, heat, flames and sparks. Protect from moisture.
