First-aid measures

a. Eye contact: rinse cautiously with plenty of water for several minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If any adverse effect occurs, get immediate medical attention.

b. Skin contact: remove/take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with plenty of soap and water or take a shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. In case of adverse effects, seek for immediate medical attention

Fire-fighting measures

Use sand, CO2, Dry Chemical, Foam, Halon. Do not use water jet.

Accidental release measures

Avoid contact with poured substance and do not walk on the contaminated area. Keep non trained personnel away from the area where the release took place. Remove any flame or open fire if present. Wear adequate clothing and protection to proceed to cleaning up. Avoid dispersion of substance into drains, surface, ground water and sewerage system. Pick up with liquid-sorbent material and place into drums or other suitable container for disposal. Flush with water after removal of substance and sanitize the contaminated area.

Handling and storage

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection in order to avoid any skin and eye contact with the substance. Do not eat, drink and smoke in the areas where material is stored, handled, processed. Personnel handling the material should wash hands before eating, drinking and smoking. Ensure that packaging is not damaged and is well closed. Store away from direct sunlight in cool (below 40°C), dry, well-ventilated area, away from heat sources, flame, spark sources, moisture, acid, alkaline or oxidizing materials.

Exposure controls / personal protection

a.Eye protection: should be conform to EN 166.
b.Skin protection: wear suitable industrial clothing of category II (see Directive 89/686/EEC) or compliant with EN 13034 standard. Wash with water and soap after taking off clothes.
c.Hand protection: wear approved protective gloves of category III with level of protection 2 according to EN 374.

Stability and reactivity

Stable under normal usage conditions. Reacts with bases and reducing and oxidizing agents. Materials to avoid: strong oxidizing and reducing agents, bases and strong acids.

Disposal considerations

Dispose product and packaging in accordance with local and state laws.
