Maximum concentrations in % of the applied amount
- at pH4: 1.99 g/L
- at pH7: 2.36 g/L
- at pH9: 2.66 g/L

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
There was less than 10% hydrolysis after 5 days at 50°C at pH 4, 7 and 9. The estimated half-lives at 25°C of NINOX HCDO at pH 4, 7 and 9 are > 1 year.

Description of key information

The assessment of hydrolytic stability of the substance was carried out according to the EU Method C.7 (Lumsden, 2000). The test item was determined to be hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9, with estimated half-lives greater than 1 year at 25°C.  The study is given a Klimisch score of 1, was conducted under GLP and is considered as the key study for endpoint coverage.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
1 yr
at the temperature of:
25 °C
