Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 102 (Melting point / Melting Range)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Melting / freezing pt.:
>= -64 - <= 145 °C
Remarks on result:
other: Melting area of crystalline subcomponents

Details:

The test item shows a melting area of crystalline subcomponents between -64 °C and 145 °C (in the 1. and 2. heating run) according to the definition in the OECD Guideline 102 (mean value from repeat determinations; 1st melting from the subcomponent).

-65 °C - 146 °C (from first measurement)

-63 °C - 142 °C (from second measurement)

-64 °C - 146 °C (from third measurement)

The 1st cooling run shows a cristallization at 99 °C.

Description of key information

-64 - 145 °C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting point of the substance was determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry according to OECD Guideline 102.

The melting range given corresponds to the melting area of crystalline subcomponents.
