First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move exposed person to fresh air. In case of indisposition

seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water, open eye lids forcible. If

irritation occurs, seak medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. Do not use any solvent.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Symptomatic treatment. In case of indisposition seek medical

advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Kohlenstoffoxide, Stickstoffoxide and other

toxic derivatives.

"ENGLISH"

Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and other toxic derivatives.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear protective clothing (see "handling").

Solids: Sweep up (wet powders with water) and place in

suitable containers for disposal.

Liquids: Absorb using an adequate absorbent (eg. Kieselgur,

sand, saw dust, Kieselgel), collect and place in suitable

containers for disposal.

Dispose of waste material in authorised incineration

facility. Adequately lebel the containers filled with the

substance that has been taken up (if applicable, in

accordance with Technical Rule 201).

Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.

Handling and storage

Handling: All working methods must always be designed so that exposure

by inhalation of the substance and by skin contact is

minimized and eye contact is excluded.

Closed or at least splashproof equipment should

be used during filling, transfer and metered feeding as well

as during sampling. In the case of handling in open systems,

any durst that can form must be extracted directly at the

point of origin. The extracted air should only be returned

to the work area after adequate cleaning using tested

equipment. If technical extraction or ventilation measures

are not possible or are insufficient, respiratory protection

(particle mask or respirator with independent air supply)

should be worn. To avoid skin and eye contact, tested

protective gloves (tightly fitting safety glasses) and

suitable protective clothing (disposable protective clothing

including cloves, cap and overshoes) as well as suitable eye

protection are required. Adequate washing facilities should

be available in the immediate vicinity of the work area.

After skin contact, the affected parts of the skin shoud be

cleaned thoroughly using (water and soap). Special

skin-protection and skin-care measures are recommended.

Adequate eye douches and washing facilities should be

available in the immediate vicinity of the work area.

A skinprotection plan should be drawn up. Outdoor dothing

should be kept separate from working clothes. If dust can

develop, due to the potential dust explosion risk, potential

ignition sources should be removed from the work area. In

addition, measures should be taken to prevent electrostatic

discharges.

Compatible materials: aluminium, plastics, glas.

Storage: The substance should be stored in well sealed and secure

containers in adequate rooms. Avoid residues outside the

containers. Store cool and dry. Used material for

containers: 1 kg in 3 l Alu-Tin with PE Inliner.

Keep containers secure against falling.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Alu-tin with PE-inliner (1 kg or 3 l)
