Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove promptly to fresh air.  If not breathing, administer

artificial respiration and seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes, including under

eyelids. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.  Seek medical attention if

irritation persists after washing.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, foam, water fog (since the substance is

placed on the market as an aqueous dispersion, combustion is

unlikely to occur).

Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon and nitrogen, cyanide (since the substance

is placed on the market as an aqueous dispersion, combustion

is unlikely to occur).

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Full protection by suitable clothing and positive pressure

breathing apparatus

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing.  Collect spilled

substance onto absorbant material (e.g. sand) and place in

containers for disposal by incineration.  Wash area with

detergent and water, but measures must be taken to avoid wet

waste discharge to drains/surface water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use in area with local exhaust ventilation. Wear suitable

protective clothing, goggles and impermeable gloves.

Respiratory protection may be required if local LEV is

insufficient.

Storage: Store in cool, well ventilated areas, protected from light.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 20 kg steel can with polyethylene inner bag.
