First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air and let rest.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with a lot of clean water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove polluted clothing. Rinse skin thoroughly for at least
15 minutes with a lot of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse the mouth a few times with water. Seek medical
attention if symptoms occur.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam may be used. Use water
spray/fog for cooling.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon (COx),
nitrogen (NOx) and sulfide (SOx).

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and positive pressure breathing
apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep or shovel up the spilled material into plastic (lined)
drumes, identify for removal as dangerous waste for
incineration in accordance with local regulations. Flush
possible residues away with water.

Handling and storage

Handling: For normal use protective clothing (Solvex plus green
apron), goggles, dust mask P2 and gloves should be worn when
working with the material under local exhaust ventilation.


In case of emergency the same protective measures should be
applied, but instead of goggles and dust mask as described
above a full face mask and filter (P3) should be worn.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers under dry and cool
conditions (2-10 degrees Celsius).

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Plastic lined fibre drums of 20 kgs.
