First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give
oxygen. If breathing has stopped, give artificial
respiration. Get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at
least 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower lids. Get prompt
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with large amounts of water; use soap if available.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry chemical, foam, carbon dioxide and water fog.
Product arising from burning: Material may emit toxic or irritating fumes.

Protective equipment: Fire fighters should be equipped with self-contained
breathing apparatus to protect against potentially toxic and
irritating fumes. No significant fire hazards.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Spills should be taken up with suitable absorbent and placed
in labelled containers. Spill area can be washed with
water; collect wash water for approved disposal. Do not
flush to storm sewer or waterway.

Handling: Normal precautions for handling industrial chemicals are
applicable. i.e. the use of personal protective equipment
and local exhaust ventilation
Storage: Store at ambient temperatures in securely sealed containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The test substance will be imported in black 5 gallon
polyethylene pails, as the material is UV sensitive.
