First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure, fresh air, rest, if breathing is
difficult, give oxygen. Obtain medical attention immediately
(show this Material Safety Data Sheet).
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately and as long as possible with plenty of
water. Eyelids should be held away from the eyeball to
ensure thorough rinsing. Always seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes
while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Only when conscious, rinse mouth, give plenty of water to
drink (approx. 500 ml). DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical
advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2.

Product arising from burning: No hazardous products to be expected.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective
clothing should be worn in fire conditions.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: ** Personal precautions:

Avoid inhalation of dusts. Use appropriate respirator
breathing apparatus. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing. Wear suitable gloves. Wear suitable protective
clothing.

** Environmental precautions:

Avoid dust generation. Isolate spill area.

** Methods for cleaning up:

Shovel up. collect as much as possible in a clean container
for (preferable) reuse or disposal. Rinse remnant with
plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Handling: ** Handling:

Control dust formation. Avoid inhalation of dusts. Avoid
contact with skin and eyes.

Do not eat, drink or smoke in the application area. Keep
working clothes separately and do not take them home.

** Engineering controls:

Ensure good ventilation and local exhaust ventilation of the
working area. If these measures are not sufficient,
suitable respiratory protection must be worn.

** Personal protection:

Respiratory : Use appropriate breathing apparatus

Hand: : Wear suitable gloves.Chemically compatible

Eye : Wear safety goggles

Skin & Body : Wear suitable protective clothing:

special overalls, tight fitting at neck, ankles and wrists
and head covered. Change daily. After handling bulk
quantities,showering is recommended.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: ** Recycling

The recycling of the substance is possible

** Spillage

Recovery and re-use is possible by collecting as much as
possible in a clean container. Before re-use the substance
has to be resolved and recrystallized.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not specified

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration is recommended way of disposal, according to
Federal-, State- or Local Laws. The produced waste-gases are
common to the incineration of oxygen-containing organic
substances.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: If used in the envisaged manner, only small amounts of the
substance will be discharged into the waste water, which
will be removed in a waste-water treatment.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Not applicable

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance does not enter the public domain

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable
