First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. Seek immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Seek medical
attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical advice.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, dry chemical, foam or carbon dioxide may be
used.

aluminium.

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Avoid dust formation, damp down spill with water. Absorb
with suitable inert material (eg sand or soil). Transfer the
spill to waste containers or take up using a sealed
industrial vacuum. Dispose of in accordance with local
regulations.

Wash spill site with water and detergent. Do not allow spill
or washings to enter water courses.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Suitable protective clothing,
safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask conforming to EN149
FFP1 should be worn.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a cool dark place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The toner cartridge is enclosed in a plastic bag, packed in
a corrugated box and fixed with side packaging. The toner
bottle is packed in a corrugated box.

landfill at an authorised tip in accordance with local

suitable facility. Waste gas treatment to remove oxides of
