Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, carbon dioxide or dry chemical may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Sweep up
spill and transfer to labelled containers. Dispose of by
incineration in accordance with local regulations. Wash
spill site with water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic
chemicals. Exposure in the workplace should be minimised by
the use of engineering controls (appropriate ventilation and
dust collection systems). Impermeable gloves, goggles or a
face-shield should be worn and, if inhalation exposure is
likely, suitable respiratory equipment.
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Polyethylene drums.
