In Annex X Column 2 of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 REACH concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, it is stated that a carcinogenicity study may be proposed by the registrant if the substance has a wide dispersive use or there is evidence of frequent or long-term human exposure.

 

Alkenes, C11-12, hydroformylation products, distn. Residues are not expected to have a wide dispersive use and there is no evidence of frequent of long-term human exposure. On this basis a carcinogenicity study is not proposed as part of this submission.
