Additional information

DTPMP-xNH4 will dissociate into DTPMP and ammonia when it is released into aquatic and terrestrial food chains where water is present. DTPMP and ammonia will therefore be treated separately for the purposes of deriving PNECoral.

A NOAEL of 886 mg/kg bw/day has been determined for ammonium sulfate in a 13-week repeated-dose feeding study with male rats (diarrhea). The value is equivalent to 228 mg/kg bw/day (ammonia).

No data is available for toxicity to birds with DTPMP-H and its salts. PNEC oral is not calculated for DTPMP or ammonia because they do not have the potential to bioaccumulate.
