Description of key information
The n-octanol/water partition coefficient of DETDA at 25ºC, expressed as the logarithm (base 10), was determined to be 1.38 ± 0.019 (n = 6, CV = 1.4%). The measured pH value of the aqueous phase was 8.53

Currently for the partition coefficient of the testing material, 2 experimental studies are available. Both studies have been performed using the shake flsak method (OECD guideline N°107). The values are comparable and are the following:
* Log Kow = 1.17 (Report 401397)
* Log KOW = 1.38 (Report 471C-143)
