- After inhalation :

Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of dust or fumes from overheating or combustion.

In the event of symptoms refer for medical treatment.

- After contact with skin :

In case of irritation consult a physician.

Remove immediately adhering matter.

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.

- After contact with eyes :

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.

- After ingestion:

Allow the affected person to vomit themselve, if necessary.

Induce vomiting only upon the advice of a physician.

Drink plenty of water.

Summon a doctor immediately.

- Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed

Toxic if swallowed.

May cause sensitization by skin contact.

Irritating to eyes.

-Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

Treat symptoms.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

- Suitable extinguishing media :Foam, carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical, water-spray.

- Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Full water jet.

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture Fire may produce: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides (NOx).

- Advice for firefighters : Use breathing apparatus with independent air supply. Protective suit.

- Additional information :

Dust may form explosive mixture in air.

Cool containers at risk with water spray jet.

Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.

Accidental release measures

-Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures :

Respirator must be worn if exposed to dust.

Do not breathe dust.

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Use personal protective clothing.

-Environmental precautions:

Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater.

-Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Pick up mechanically, avoiding dust, and provide disposal in suitable recipients.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling :

- Advice on safe handling :

Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at machinery and at places where dust can be generated.

Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or mucous membrane.

-Advice on protection against fire and explosion

Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Dust may form explosive mixture in air.

Keep at a distance of combustible materials.

Avoid formation of dust.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

-Requirements for storage rooms and vessels :

Keep container tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

- Advice on storage compatibility :

Incompatible with strong bases and oxidizing agents.

- Further information on storage conditions:

Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.

-Specific end use(s)

Exposure controls / personal protection

Occupational exposure controls:

Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.

Protective and hygiene measures :

Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product .

When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.

Remove and wash contaminated clothes before re-use.

Do not wear contact lenses when handling the product.

Do not breathe dust.

Respiratory protection:

Respirator must be worn if exposed to dust.

Hand protection

Protective gloves resistant to chemicals made of nitrile, Minimum coat thickness 0.4 mm, Permeation resistance (wear

duration) approx. 480 minutes, i.e. protective glove <Camatril Profi 729> made by www.kcl.de.

This recommendation refers exclusively to the chemical compatibility and the lab test conforming to EN 374 carried out

under lab conditions.

Requirements can vary as a function of the use. Therefore it is necessary to adhere additionally to the recommendations

given by the manufacturer of protective gloves.

Eye protection

Eye wash bottle with pure water.

Tightly fitting goggles.

Skin protection

Long sleeved clothing.

Stability and reactivity

-Reactivity

No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

-Chemical stability

Stable under normal conditions.

-Possibility of hazardous reactions

Risk of dust explosions

-Conditions to avoid

To avoid thermal decomposition, do not overheat.

-Incompatible materials

Strong oxidizing agents.

-Hazardous decomposition products

Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulphur oxides, and nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods

-Advice on disposal

Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal.

Can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations.

-Waste disposal number of waste from residues/unused products

070699 WASTES FROM ORGANIC CHEMICAL PROCESSES; wastes from the MFSU of fats, grease, soaps,

detergents, disinfectants and cosmetics; wastes not otherwise specified

-Contaminated packaging

Empty containers should be taken for local recycling, recovery or waste disposal.

Contaminated packaging should be emptied as far as possible and after appropriate cleansing may be taken for reuse.

Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of like the product.
