First-aid measures

General information:

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.

After inhalation:

Supply fresh air, if required oxygen, consult a physician. If threatening unconsciousness, position and transport in recovery position. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

After contact with skin:

In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water.

Seek medical treatment immediately.

After contact with eyes:

Remove contact lens. Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. In the event of persistent symptoms receive medical treatment.

After ingestion:

Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Induce vomiting only upon the advice of a physician. Summon a doctor immediately.

Unsuitable extinguishing media:

Full water jet.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

In case of fire formation of dangerous gases possible.

In the event of fire the following can be released: carbon dioxide (CO2), Carbon monoxide (CO).

Advice for firefighters:

In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit. Wear full protective suit.

Additional information:

Cool containers at risk with water spray jet.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Use personal protective clothing. Get unprotected persons to safety.

Environmental precautions:

Hand protection:

Protective gloves (EN 374). Chemical resistant protective gloves, for direct and longer contact, penetration time > 480 min (EN 374-EN 388), 0,75 mm Neopren or 1,30 mm PVC.

Glove material must be impermeable and resistant against product / substance / preparation. Gloves material should comply with breakthrough times, permeation rates, and degradation. Requirements can vary as a function of the use. Therefore it is necessary to adhere additionally to the recommendations given by the manufacturer of protective gloves. Follow the recommendations of the glove manufacturer for breakthrough properties especially for workplace conditions involving mechanical stress and contact duration. The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves.
