Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No effects were observed at the highest tested concentration of 1000 mg/kg dw.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for soil macroorganisms:
1 000 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

In an enchytraeid reproduction test in soil according to OECD 220 test concentrations from 1 to 1000 mg/kg dw were tested. No effect was found at the highest tested concentration of 1000 mg/kg dw. Thus, the NOEC (reproduction) was determined to be >= 1000 mg/kg dw and the EC50 was determined to be > 1000 mg/kg dw.

The study was recently published in a paper by Richter et al. (2013). Due to limited details on the study performance a reliability could not be assigned (RL4). As a key study for terrestrial arthropods is available, this study is used as supporting study for the terrestrial toxicity to soil macroorganisms.
