Description of key information
The test substance did not ignite before melting at 98 °C.

Auto-flammability (i.e, the self-ignition temperature) of test substance was tested according to EU method A16.The test substance is placed in an open-topped stainless steel wiremesh cube of side length 20mm, which is suspended centrally within an oven. The oven temperature is programmed to increase at a rate of 0.5°C per minute from room temperature up to 400°C, or to the melting point of the test substance if lower. The temperature/time trace showed an endotherm at 98°C, which was assumed to be due to melting of the test substance. Accordingly, the test substance did not ignite before melting at 98 °C.
