Administrative data

First-aid measures

Inhalation: Immediately remove the patient from exposure and place it in the open air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Keep the subject warm and quiet. Call a doctor.

Contact with the skin: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash the area of the body concerned with water with soap or mild detergent for 15 minutes. Consult a doctor immediately. Wash clothing before re-use.

Eye contact: Wash immediately with water or with saline (for 15 minutes) until complete removal of the product (especially on and under the eyelids). Consult an ophthalmologist immediately.

Ingestion: Induce vomiting immediately. If the person is conscious, rinse mouth with water. Call a doctor. If vomiting occurs, keep head position lower than hips to prevent aspiration.

Fire-fighting measures

Means of extinction: Use extinguishing media appropriate to surrounding communities because the product is not flammable. There is no counter indicated way. Precautions. Move containers away from fire area if this is possible without taking risks. Avoid breathing vapors or toxic dust. Use appropriate protective equipment for fire. Wear self contained breathing mask.

Accidental release measures

Precautions: Do not touch spilled material. Take unnecessary staff away.

Precautions to protect the environment: Avoid runoff to sewers, contamination of surface water and groundwater and soil.

Cleaning methods: Sweep up and place in clean dry containers for later processing by local regulations or regional rules.

Handling and storage

Handling: Plan a vacuum dust emission at workstations. Provide for personnel protective clothing, gloves and safety goggles to avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat or drink on the premises where the product is handled. Provide eye baths and showers on the premises where the product is often manipulated.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Store in closed containers and labeled. Stored in an area accessible only to authorized persons.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection: Required when dust is generated.

Eye Protection: Use goggles.

Hand protection: Use gloves.

Industrial hygiene: Change clothes at the end of work. Do not take contaminated clothing home. Do not eat or drink on the job. Wash hands and face before eating or smoking. Take a shower at the end of his workday. Do not inhale substance.

Stability and reactivity

Product stable under normal temperature and pressure. Emits toxic fumes of lead when melted or decomposed.

Disposal considerations

Treat waste as hazardous. Do not allow product to go into a watercourse or sewer.
