Log Koc (OECD 121, EU C.19) = 4.180 ± 0.001
Testing to determine further information on adsorption/desorption is not proposed by the registrant as a GLP compliant OECD 121 study has been completed and included within this dossier indicating that the Log Koc is 4.181.

A GLP study conducted according to OECD 121 and EU C.19 is available.
The study, carried out according to the HPLC Method, determines three independent values of log Koc which mean value is above reported: 4.180 ± 0.001.
Variations in the retention times of reference items and test item are fairly small. Therefore, a stable configuration of the HPLC-column can be assumed. The correlation log k’/log Koc is sufficiently accurate as calibration gave a coefficient of determination r2 = 0.9976. The peak designated “Air” with a retention time of 2.94 mm originates from air introduced by the autosampler needle. As it is present in the blank run, it was not considered in the evaluation of the test item chromatograms.
The log Koc of the test item 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8 -tridecafluorooctyl acrylate was calculated solely in consideration of Peak 12100104G as 4.180 ± 0.001 (mean ± standard deviation). Due to the fact that the relative area of peak 2 was below 5 %, peak 2 was considered as minor peak and therefore not significant for determination of the log Koc of the test item. Thus the log Koc of 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8 -tridecafluorooctyl acrylate can be stated as 4.180 ± 0.001. No observations were made which might give doubts concerning the validity of the study outcome.
