Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

INHALATION

Remove concerned person out of danger area in a well aerated place; if any symptoms happen, look for medical assistance

SKIN

Remove all contaminated clothing. Wash  the contaminated part with water and rinse

EYE

Wash abundantly with running water holding the open eyelids. Remove contact lenses, keep eyelids open

INGESTION

Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If any symptoms happen, look for medical assistance

Fire-fighting measures

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

Water mist, powder, foam

UNSUITABLE EXTIGUISHING MEDIA

Full water jet, carbox dioxide

EXPOSURE HAZARDS

In combustion emits toxic fumes of carbon dioxide / carbon monoxide.

PROTECTION OF FIRE-FIGHTERS

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS

Eliminate all sources of ignition. If outside do not approach from downwind. If outside keep bystanders upwind and away from danger point. Mark out the contaminated area with signs and prevent access to unauthorised personnel. Turn leaking containers leak-side up to prevent the escape of liquid. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS

Do not discharge into drains or rivers. Contain the spillage using bunding.Avoid the dusting conditions

CLEAN-UP PROCEDURES

Transfer to a suitable container. Rinse the rest away with water. Incineration, disposal accoriding to local regulations

Handling and storage

HANDLING REQUIREMENTS

Avoid direct contact with the substance.Do not breathe the dust

Avoid release to the enviornment

When using do not eat, drink or smoke

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store in cool, well ventilated area. Keep away from sources of ignition. Keep container tightly closed. Storage life, ~2 years

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection: filters capturing particles

Hand protection: impermeable gloves resistant to chemical products.Take into account that the resistance of the gloves could be influenced by different factors, e.g. the work condition or temperature. Conseguently the resistance could be different from the one indicated by the permeation data for a certain type of gloves

Eye protection: protective goggles

Body protection: workers have to wear closed working clothes. The contaminated clothing should be washed before re-using them

Additional information about engineering measures: ventilation of the local where the product has been stored and/or manipulated. Provide adequate ventilation. If this is not sufficient to maintain concentrations of particulates and solvent vapour below the OEL (= Occupational Exposure Limit) , suitable respiratory protection must be worn

Stability and reactivity

Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods: the disposal must be made in conformity with actual rules, in authorized dump or thermodistructions plant. Do not empty into waters or drains.

Contaminated packaging: not reclaimable packs must be disposed with the product. Do not release in the environment.
