.  CO2, extinguishing powder or water jet. Fight larger fires with water jet.

For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents

. Water with a full water jet.

Special hazards caused by the material, its products of combustion or resulting gases:

. Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.

. Can be released in case of fire

. Carbon monoxide (CO)

Protective equipment:

. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Person-related safety precautions:

. Wear protective equipment (see section "Exposure controls / personal protection"). Keep unprotected persons away.

Measures for environmental protection:

. Do not allow product to reach sewage system or water bodies.

Measures for cleaning/collecting:

. Collect mechanically.

. Use neutralizing agent.

.  use breathing apparatus that is independent of circulating air.

.  Filter ABEK

Protection of hands:

.  Heat protection gloves

.  Only use chemical-protective gloves with CE-labelling of category III (EN 374).

Material of gloves

.  The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality

.  and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Penetration time of glove material

.  The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.

For the permanent contact in work areas without heightened risk of injury (e.g. Laboratory) gloves made

of the following material are suitable:

.  Nitril rubber, NBR

.  Butyl rubber, BR

.  e.g. glove of Fa. KCL, www.KCL.de (sitemap): Camatril (art.-no. 731, 730, level 2, >30min),

Disposal considerations

Product:

Recommendation

.  Remove according to local authority recommendations, e.g. convey to a suitable incinerator.

European waste catalogue

. The waste code classification is to be carried out according to the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) specifically

. for each branch of industry and each type of process.

Uncleaned packagings:

Recommendation:

. Packagings that cannot be cleaned are to be disposed of in the same manner as the product.
