Administrative data

First-aid measures

After inhalation: Move exposed person to fresh air. Get medical attention in case of prolongued exposure or if feeling odd

After Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Get medical attention

After eye contact: Rinse the contaminated eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Prevent the wash fluid to enter the other eye. Get medical attention immediately.

After ingestion: Induce vomiting and get medical attention immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use dry chemical, CO2, water spray (fog) or foam

NON suitable extinguishing media: Do not use water jet.

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.

Accidental release measures

Wear suitable gloves, eye and respiratory protection.

Prevent entry into sewers, water courses, basements or confined areas. Contain and collect spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite or diatomaceous earth and place in container for disposal according to local regulations

Use corrosion proof containers.

Handling and storage

Do not ingest. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing vapour or mist.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure control:

Avoid transfer into the environment.

As a precaution measure the following personal protection is recommended:

Wear protective clothing.

Avoid close or long term contact with the skin

Avoid contact with eyes.

Use hoder/temple spectacles with side protection (EN 166)

Use chemical protective gloves according DIN EN 374 with CE-labelling.

Wash hands at the end of measure.

Stability and reactivity

Chemical stability: protect against temperatures  40 °C

Hazardous decomposition products: none, if storage and handling is according to specification
