A preliminary screening test was performed: an air-rich Bunsen burner flame applied to the test material for minutes but failed to ignite the test material, thus it can be concluded that the test substance is not flammable. Furthermore, the substance is slightly soluble in water and has been used in all tests without showing signs of pyrophoricity nor reactivity with water. This is supported by experience in handling and use over decades and assessment of structural elements.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Flammability: conclusive but not sufficient for classification. Non-pyrophoric and non-reactive with water consequently not forming flammable gases in contact with water.
