The list contains requirements related to Product Function Categories (PFCs). The list is based on Annex I, Part II. The requirements apply for a given PFC and, where necessary, additional requirements are laid down for specific subcategories. The list includes requirements on the presence of contaminants (chemicals and pathogens), and requirements related to the nutrients content. The list is not exhaustive – for detailed requirements please refer to the text of Regulation (EU) 2019/1009.
