Term Note L'Allegato XIII definisce i criteri per l'identificazione delle sostanze persistenti, bioaccumulabili e tossiche (PBT), mentre l'Allegato I stabilisce le disposizioni generali relative alla valutazione delle sostanze PBT. Le sostanze PBT sono sostanze estremamente problematiche (SVHC) e possono essere incluse nell'Allegato XIV, e quindi assoggettate all'obbligo di autorizzazione.
