Administrative data

First-aid measures

Remove the person from the source of exposure. Provide rest, warmth and fresh air. When unconsious, loosen tight clothing and position in secure recovery position. Secure open airways by bending head backwards, cleaning the mouth and removing false teeth. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personell could assist affected person by admenistering oxygen.
Inhalation: Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Ingestion: Rinse nose, moth and throat with water.
Skin: Wash the skin immediately with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Contact physician if irritation continues.
Eyes: Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Contct physician if irritation persist.

Fire-fighting measures

This material is not combustible. Use extinguishing media appropriate for sorrounding fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal protection: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Spill clean up methods: Limit spread of spilled material. Runoff or release to sewer, waterway or ground is forbidden. Clean area with an appropriate cleanser. Do not let washing down water contaminate ponds or waterways.

Handling and storage

Provide good ventilation. Avoid inhalation of aerosols. Use work methods which minimise dust production. Avoid inhalation of dust. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Persons susceptible to allergic reactions should not handle this product. Only to be handled by authorized personnel. Put up warning sign. Dust can be supressed with water.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Good personal hygiene is necessary. Wash hands and contaminated areas with water and soap before leaving the work site. Wash hands after contact with the chemical. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Normally not required. Use mask with filter P3 in case of dust formation. Use respiratory equipment with particle filter, type P3 (ref EN 12083. EN 143). Use suitable protective gloves if risk of skin contact (EN 374. EN 420). No special material is recomended, as the chemical will not penetrate plastic or rubber. Use tight fitting goggles if dust is generated. Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact. Do not allow to enter into sewer, water system or soil.
